In bright sunshine we continued our trip to Lake Vänern, Sweden´s largest lake and the third-largest in whole Europe.
On our journey through Värmland we spotted another site with bronze age rock carvings beautifully located beside a little lake. We took the opportunity for a most welcome break.

After a short stop in Vänersborg we visited the Royal Hunting Museum at Hunneberg, where we could learn many interesting things about moose.
Our next stop was Läckö Castle.

At the campsite in Hällekis on the shores of Lake Vänern we built up our tent. With a magnificent sunset this day ended.

Our destination for tomorrow was Tiveden. =>
