Today the sun was shining again!

Tiveden National Park consists of woods that are left to regress to virgin forests. The wood will be left, with no intervention.
On several trails the beginnings of this evolution "back to the roots" can be recognized yet.

In Alvastra at Lake Vättern we visited the ruins of a monastery from the 12th century. It really reminded me of Ireland...

After leaving Lake Vättern we made a side trip to Store Mosse National Park, the largest moor in southern Sweden. Since it is a bird protection area and due to breeding in summer many of the hiking trails cannot be used all season.

When we nearly gave up to find a "moose warning" traffic sign down there in the south we finally found one and could take some pictures after all.

The last night before returning to Lund we spent in a cabin at Bolmen Camping. It was by far the most expensive and least comfortable of the whole trip - so much for a perfect finish...

Soon we had to say goodbye to Sweden... =>
