Today we drove round Lake Siljan. In Färnäs we stopped to watch the manufacturing of the dalahäst.

On our way round the lake we passed several nice little villages with their typical red and white painted houses.

After a short break in Mora we drove the Inlandsvägen heading south-west to Värmland. There´s plenty of wood, wood and - guess??? -  wood!!
Just central Sweden...

In Vitsand at Övre Brocken we rented a cabin again. In the evening the setting sun gave stunning colours to the sky and the water.

Moose safari!!! One of our main goals of the whole trip was indeed to see moose in the wild.
Around 9 p.m. we started our "hunt" after reading a hint in the guestbook of the campsite´s kitchen. We drove on forest tracks in first gear always looking left and right. Just before giving it up it happened: there it was - our first moose in the wild. And actually it was a bull standing on a clearing at the wood´s edge. But he did soon recognize us and fled into the forest. It was too dim for a picture anyway... Even though this was a really impressing experience.

The next day we planned to look for an accommodation for 2 days to take a break and maybe go hiking or canoeing. =>
