As already mentioned everybody is allowed to walk the first 3 km of the Otter Trail to the waterfall without permit. Just before 9 a.m. we were on the way.

The path runs through the forest and along the rocky coast. This stretch of coast is of volcanic origin which can be clearly recognised.

Almost back again


In the afternoon we were just lazy and later on we went for another little hike through the forest.
The sunset was beautiful once again...

 
Much too soon we had to leave this heavenly spot...  =>
