Our first accommodation was Hanover House Hotel in Windsor Street, where we received a very warm welcome by Jasmin.

After settling in we went to explore the Royal Mile. After the initial drizzle on arrival the sun finally broke through the clouds. To celebrate this we bought some ice cream and watched jugglers, musicians and other street artists participating in the annual Fringe festival.

After collecting our pre-booked Tattoo tickets we took a stroll through Princes Street and appreciated the castle view from Princes Street Gardens.

At Dirty Dick's in Rose Street we had our first traditional Pub Food with Steak & Ale Pie and Cheeseburger, accompanied by a Real Ale, of course. :-)

  Enjoy!

On our way back we watched The Spinning Blowfish playing an open-air concert - energetic and electrifying!
